Great air movement good for ventilation

We have used it twice this year and it has worked flawlessly. Now putting batteries in a thing is a nightmare! In terms of air movement and noise, this fan moves a lot of air and is relatively quiet. We've been using it with the same set of batteries so we're not sure how long it will last, it's currently running two 12 hour shifts and the batteries are running low.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • not sure

Great RV fan

Great fan! A strong wind is blowing high up. It's louder than the O2Cool fan, but moves air better and uses less than half the power drawn by the O2Cool fan. This fan also runs on a power adapter (not included). For testing I used a power supply from an O2Cool fan. This is a great RV fan as it does not drain the RV batteries like some other fans.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Good but not so good for van parts and accessories

I bought this for my van. The fan is not noisy and blows well. However, this is cumbersome and more than necessary. The fan works on AC, DC or batteries. However, only with a DC plug. If you put batteries (8D) in it, the fan will be very heavy. I've been looking for a power supply to no avail. Overall, I would recommend looking for a different fan for those who need a 12V fan.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • No automatic transmission

Good fan, light, works well. Poorly designed battery compartment.

Works very well but yeah the battery doors are stupid and don't close well. This is due to the deformation of the plastic case. I sealed mine with tape and the fan works fine. In all honesty, the entire battery compartment is poorly designed - you can barely fit them in! As for the fan itself, however, the white noise is enough to help us lunatics fall asleep. In summer there is enough air not to go to the skete.

Pros
  • Easy to set up
Cons
  • There are downsides

12v superstar so far

For the price this fan is excellent. I use this fan with my 250Ah deep cycle batteries, after 8am my charge controller still shows 100%. Consumes only 0.4 amps so can last for weeks. It fits my standard RV roof vent (easily held in place with a single shelf spring bar). The noise isn't exactly low, at low volume it can be the volume of standing next to the microwave, but that's not bad for a 12 volt motor. I think it's ideal for airing an RV with a <30ft battery house. For the price and…

Nice little fan in the ventilation system

I bought this fan for my van which I use for traveling and camping. I needed one that didn't use too much power. I hooked it up to my Jackery power station. The first night it went off in the middle of the night and wasn't working. I remembered the mention of the fuse and started looking for it. yes that was the problem. Replaced and has been working ever since. The power plant showed 100% charge at 9pm that evening, the fan ran until 6am the next morning and the gauge was still 100%. Can't…

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Expensive

Works as advertised, 12v plug folds down and fits perfectly in one of the battery compartments. I put in a set of batteries and used them all weekend of the 4 day music festival and I'm still benefiting from them. I put mine in the window of my truck for air circulation. I just held it in place and rolled up the window to hold it in place and it worked great. It definitely moves a good amount of air. Only consider the cost of the batteries unless you want to use 12V exclusively.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Exterior

Great indoor/outdoor fan! No more stench! No more steam!

I recently moved into another rental home that does not have exhaust fans in both the guest and master bathrooms. The lease is very clear that I am not allowed to make such an upgrade, so I offered to pay the full amount to have the company install them in each of them at my expense. Unfortunately the owner declined my request. Said the small window in each of the bathrooms provided adequate ventilation. The best and safest alternative I chose was to buy this fan and put it by the window. When…

  • Hands Free

  • Out of fashion

Terrible design and poor quality

This fan was a huge waste of money. The master switch barely works - it takes some fumbling to make it work at all, and doesn't want to stay in the "off" position (it's clear from the "feel" that either a bad switch was set or a good one was wrong adjusted.) When it works, it moves very little air. Worst of all, however, is the design of the battery compartment. It took me almost ten minutes to insert the required 8 D-Cells - the tray has protrusions in places and a wide rim making this almost…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank
