Works great, but runs a tad small

I usually wear a men's 8.5 shoe, so I ordered the "E" size of these FINIS Zoomers Gold. The "E" is supposed to fit Men's 7.5-8.5. but they were too small for me. I could barely get them on my feet and the fin were way too tight when I did. I know fins are supposed to fit a tad snug so they won't fall off my feet in the pool, but they were just too tight for comfort. So, I had Revain do an exchange for size "F" fins. It was VERY easy to fill out the online info and I had my new fins in 2 days…

Pros
  • I like that it is sturdy and serves it purpose well. I think this will last for a long time.
Cons
  • The product should be good. Just the pair received looks like used

Good, Heavy, Strong Fins, but be careful with Size and Friction

I purchased the Finis Yellow Zoomers Gold to help me strengthen my Swimming Skills and Leg Muscles in the water along with other bits from the same Finis training tools. Based on the reviews that was a good choice and I made the right decision.Observations:Blades are Stiffness and heavy.Heel comfortable and natural curve with foots heel, easy to slip foot in.I Select Size H as I use Size 12 US shoe Size / 11 AUS and it fits perfectly. Going smaller would not have been a good idea. But, there is…

Pros
  • I use these 3 times a week in the pool to add some enjoyment to kick workouts.
Cons
  • May cause blisters or rubbing if not fitted properly

Zoom zoom down the pool

I can't live without a pool (I try for it every day)-- I wouldn't be without my zoomers which I've been using for over 25 years since I lived in Palo Alto/Sunnyvale area. These are fins designed for pool exercise; they're rigid and strengthen my muscles, I believe. I have had two knee replacements, so I can't kick very well and the zoomers help me a lot.I go to the deep end, 6 to 8 feet, and just move my legs back and forth in a scissor-like motion. My two knees are doing great--one is going to

Pros
  • IMPROVED FOOT POCKET: Material formulated with soft natural rubber for increased comfort and a secure fit
Cons
  • May not be durable enough for frequent use

Boost your pool workout

Lightweight and small enough to carry in my pool bag. These fins make a great addition to my pool workouts. Not to mention fun! Definitely notice added benefits to leg strength and motion as well as more intensity for my gluts and abs. Fantastic for increasing the intensity of the workout.

Pros
  • They come in a variety of sizes, so you can find the perfect fit for you
Cons
  • May create turbulence in the water, affecting other swimmers

remember Churchills?

these fins are supple and reminiscent of Churchill fins for boogie-boarders - i use these in my early-morning workouts to prevent shoulder injury - i do 10 mins w/a float board, then 20 mins with a swim every other day - this way i don't get shoulder damage during my workouts (i'm getting old, folks, and the joints only have so many miles)so these fins work great! i'm a 10.5 4EE (wide) old man, and the 'G' size fits PERFECTLY!. i do use a swipe of 'Body Glide' across the top of both feet (the…

Pros
  • They are made with high-quality materials that will last for years to come
Cons
  • May not be adjustable for different levels of resistance

Solid fins: my feedback

Finis makes great swim gear. Feels very solid and durable. I've had no brands and there is a difference with quality and durability.

Pros
  • The fins can also help with ankle flexibility and mobility, making them great for stretching and warm-ups
Cons
  • May require additional support gear, such as kickboards, for proper use

Great for swimming laps

I got these to increase the exercise to my legs while swimming laps, and they have it done exactly that. I am not a competitive swimmer and so I probably don't swim properly, but these flippers have been able to distribute my effort between arms and legs. I wear a size 13 shoe and the largest size is a little snug but is comfortable enough

Pros
  • Hmmm much thinner rubber than original brand. Stretches fast.Comfy
Cons
  • May not provide enough resistance for advanced swimmers

Fix my form best in my review

There is a lot of talk and a lot of products for swimmers to improve technique. Kick boards, hand paddles, snorkel, buoyancy noodles, bungee cords, etc. All of these products help in diffrent ways but can also hinder you if not used carefully. This product makes it easier to stay buoyant while focusing on breathing, arm techinque, etc. I am 5' 10" 168 lbs so my lower body immediately sinks. With this product I can float with much less effort and improve technique. In 3 months of swimming…

Pros
  • The FINIS Training Fins will help you swim longer, faster, and more efficiently than ever before
Cons
  • May cause discomfort if worn for extended periods of time

Good, but they rub.

These are good swim fins overall.I’m not sure why, but after I worked up to greater than 30 laps a day in the pool, these started rubbing really nasty friction wounds into the tops of my feet. They seem to fit snugly and correctly. So, I don’t know? I’m trying to solve the problem now, only semi-successfully, by adding padded aqua socks to my feet before putting these on at the pool’s edge.

Pros
  • The fins are adjustable, so you can customize them to fit your feet perfectly
Cons
  • May not fit all swimmer leg shapes comfortably

Great fins for swimming

Got a blister on my big toe the first time I used them but was kind of expected.Great addition to my morning swim workout That's my review.

Pros
  • My foot is size 6. Your 9 is small, very narrow and uncomfortable but fin quality excellent
Cons
  • Too heavy and not flexible

They run large. - my new review

I love these fins, however I recommend you size down when purchasing if you have narrow ankles like me. I actually wear a size 13 shoe, the footbed area of the large is a little loose on me.

Pros
  • They are durable and can withstand heavy use, so you won't have to replace them frequently
Cons
  • May not be as effective for dry land training as other equipment
