Description of Lodge L5SK3/L6SK3 20.3 cm Diameter Pan

Cast iron LODGE pan with cast handle. Uncoated, ready to use. The pan can be used on all types of stoves, ovens or ovens. Can be used on an open fire, not afraid of overheating. Cast iron cookware has a well-deserved reputation among cooks and housewives as it retains heat much longer than conventional cookware, while food does not burn and cooks evenly. It absorbs and retains heat more efficiently than cookware made from other materials, reducing energy consumption. Frying pans, Dutch ovens, grills, braziers, kettles and more have become favorite kitchen items in many families and professional chefs and are passed down from generation to generation. Lodge from pure cast iron is made exclusively in the USA.

The best thing for the money, Im glad I chose this option.

Because I like it so much, I now have the want to fry something every single day. If there is anything else, the website of the maker will tell you how to properly care for it. I advise! With its positives being: Appears to be of high quality, and if cared for properly, I believe it has the potential to last at least a lifetime. High capacity for the generation of heat Some cons: It may be a little sticky at first, but after a while, it will go away. Minimal maintenance is required. Rusty if…

I'm not completely satisfied with the product.

I used a grinder with petal circles and a grinder to process the bottom and walls of the pan because I was prepared for such a surface quality. The black "non-stick coating" came off, and they turned smooth and light gray. However, fresh pores started to emerge from beneath the removed metal. After washing, I immediately wipe it with a towel or paper towels and heat it on the stove to remove any remaining moisture. I then grease the surface with vegetable oil. I didn't bother to restore the…

Pros
  • low cost of purchase. The name of the business and the nation are printed on the pan's bottom on the other side.
Cons
  • The walls and bottom of the pan are porous and rough like sandpaper, indicating poor casting quality.

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

It appears that everything is working out so far after three rounds of bluing and three to four hours in the oven after linseed oil was used to grease it. However, after a month, I will repeat the process. As opposed to using a silicone brush, it is preferable to lubricate with oil alone using your hands. You only need a tiny bit of oil; if there is too much, it will bake with difficult-to-wash drops. As there is obviously some kind of coating on the pan, the photo shows where it is extremely…

Great product, a pleasure to use.

Has some pros: Cast iron, normal prepared cast iron. Fries well, for two or three is normal. Has cons: Fuss with it more of course - wash, wipe, warm, lubricate. But this requires any cast-iron cookware without coating. Well, the handle is a bit small.
