Rember To Tie Line Sturdy

Small and sturdy. Very useful when getting fishing hook caught on something. Lost my last one because the line wasn't tied properly. My last one was bigger and heavier. Still this one does the job.

Pros
  • great for our boat
Cons
  • Let me use it a few more times so I can possibly do a better review

Works great!: my feedback

So, Like all my other reviews I wait awhile to test the product. I purchased a magnet fishing kit as well with this. I had also made a cheaper kit from home depot and ended up losing the home depot magnet, I used this hook to skim the floor where I lost it and ended up retrieving it. Worked out great!

Pros
  • Used it to pull broken limbs from trees , worked well. Seems to be of sturdy construction.
Cons
  • The hook may cause damage to trees or other natural objects when used for limb removal

Hook is great but the carabiner. Not at all

So this hook is big, very well made and impressive. The reason for 3 stars and not 5 is that as soon as I saw the carabiner I thought what a cheap looking thing. The hook is solid and I have no doubt could hold a lot of weight but that carabiner. the locking mechanism is flimsy and loose. I should have gone with my gut and replaced it with something I was more confident of. I have a small man made pond that has had branches fall into it over the years. While using this hook to remove the…

Pros
  • Fast shipping!
Cons
  • The claws may not be strong enough to grip onto certain materials, such as metal or plastic

Buy the good ones like this, not the cheapies

Definitely helped with some of my small tree removal, save some money into it yourself. these will come in handy next summer too when I start doing tree work again

Pros
  • A very good in quality and price.I use it at work, for various grounds keeping tasks.✌🏼👍
Cons
  • The hook may be too noisy during use, making it unsuitable for stealthy operations

Strong and durable for my opinion

Just the right size for pulling limbs out of a creek. Also good for attaching a rope in a tree to persuade it to fall in a specific direction as you cut the tree down.

Pros
  • ‎6 x 4 x 2 inches
Cons
  • The grappling hook may require specialized training or knowledge to be used effectively

Great gift on my review.

I'm disabled and too weak to do much. But I've wanted a grappling hook ever since I watched Batman cartoons in the 80's. Now I have one and I love it. Best part is it can hold my weight according to the description and isn't to heavy for me to lift. That says a lot. I'm fat.

Pros
  • I like it and hope to used it this week.
Cons
  • The claws may become dull or damaged during use, reducing their effectiveness

Everyone should have one.

Rope is very strong. If it gets hung up, you need a pole to free it. Fun toy. Does not work as well as a rake lake though as it can get hung up. Had to buy a pole saw too to cut the branches.

Pros
  • Quickdraws
Cons
  • The grappling hook may be too specialized for users who engage in a variety of outdoor activities

Wow! This hook is incredible!

Wonderful product! Very very much worth the money. I have dragged the pond from a property I just purchased. I used this hook and I’m amazed at the stuff it would come up with. Wasn’t with ease but expected struggle. Everything from large logs, branches and fence posts. to a very heavy leather recliner, a door and a large bundles of feed sacks tied in bulk. WOW! This hook is incredible. Not once did the line break. Highly recommend.

Pros
  • After Sales
Cons
  • The claws may break or become damaged during use, posing a risk of injury

Good for most things

I purchased it to help clear up a lot of vegetation growing beyond my reach on a shoreline. I must have hooked a root or something strong because when I pulled on it with my tractor it bent one of the hooks.

Pros
  • great for a tag line for removing tree lims
Cons
  • The carabiner may be too bulky for certain applications, such as rock climbing or bouldering

Great buy, especially for the price.

This was purchased for a relative to drag tree limbs out of his pond. I could have made something similar in about an hour, but just never seemed to make the time to do it. Plus this hook came with the 65 foot nylon rope and a decent carabiner. It seems to be a stoutly made little hook. Not sure I would go around doing ninja stuff with it but it would definitely support the 150# rating listed by the seller. But you need to multiply your dressed weight by at least 3x for fall protection and…

Pros
  • ‎Unisex-adult
Cons
  • The hook may be too heavy to be used for continuous or prolonged periods of time

What a great little tool.

I love this and it is the perfect size. I am in a ♿ and I use it to move big rocks and obstructions on my property. It is very well made with a good grip. Perfect for my needs and fast shipment. Hughly recommend.

Pros
  • Use with caution. Those tips on the grappling hook are very sharp. Almost like a weapon.
Cons
  • The grappling hook may be difficult to stabilize on uneven surfaces

Bigger than it appears in the pic

I got this grappling hook to pull tree branches out of my fishing pond. Works great! My son has also used it with the tractor to pull briars out of trees. Again, works great.

Pros
  • Arrived quickly and as described. Worked well on pulling a tree down.
Cons
  • The grappling hook is not suitable for use with heavy loads and may break easily

easy. And rope grappling system

The hook and rope was exactly what I needed to hook branches and pull them over so they would drop away from my structure to prevent damages from happening. Worked well for me. The rope was the right diameter for throwing eady.

Pros
  • Solid and strong, I should’ve bought the next size up.
Cons
  • The claws may become brittle in cold weather, reducing their functionality

Nice grappling tool

I used it to get some limbs out of trees that I didn’t want to climb up for. Unsure if that’s the intended use but it did the trick for me.

Pros
  • Used it to remove large heavy tree limbs from the pond. Strong. Sturdy. Got the job done.
Cons
  • The carabiner may be difficult to attach to certain objects or surfaces

Worked on my tree limb

Great hook, was able to pull down a huge, half broken limb from a tree that was hanging over my kids playset. Would have cost a couple hundred if I called someone to take it down.

Pros
  • Works Great
Cons
  • The hook may get stuck or tangled in certain terrain, making retrieval difficult

Worked well for me in my review

Works great, grandchild dropped a brand new fishing pole in the lake.I was able to retrieve it easily with the grappling hook.

Pros
  • Grappling Hooks
Cons
  • The carabiner may be too difficult to operate for some users with limited dexterity

Many uses! - my new review

I have a lake surrounded by trees. While fishing I lose many lures on branches. I use the grappling hook to pull the branch out and retrieve my lures. It has paid for itself!

Pros
  • Feels sturdy and well made.
Cons
  • The grappling hook may be difficult to maneuver in tight spaces or dense foliage

What a useful item!

I'm convinced I have needed a grapple for years and had no idea they were so readily available. Due to a major storm, we ended up with a sheet of heavy tin and other debris in our pond. Tried in vain to get all that stuff out of there. Have had good luck finding items on ebay that I couldn't locate locally, so to ebay I went and found this shiny piece of equipment. This baby jerked that tin right out of there as well as all the other trash. Made us wonder why we had earlier put in all the…

Pros
  • I use the hook to clean vegetation from my canal. The weight and size is perfect.
Cons
  • The grappling hook may not be versatile enough to be used in a wide range of outdoor activities

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Its well made. best in my review

Haven't used it yet, it looks well made and the points are very sharp which I may round off , only using it for tree limb retrieval.

Pros
  • I used to pull down dead limbs. Good quality and nice long cord.
Cons
  • The hook is too heavy and bulky for easy transportation during hikes
