Bought these for my 07 MB C230 license plate lights as another reviewer said it worked for their 06 C230 but for some reason not error free on my car. Only 1 star off because I know most cars won't have the error message issue. It mainly has do to with the very sensitive canbus system found, for the most part, in euro cars that throws a message with lights that don't show the same power usage as the stock bulbs. These do actually work and not flash like most other led's I have tried but nonetheless still does give error message on instrument cluster. They are very bright, in fact too bright for my taste as it lights up the bumper a little too much as well, so I turned them almost 90 degrees from their intended position. Now they still put off plenty of light for the plate while not looking like you have two flashlights facing it and the bumper. They are a little pricey but they do seem very well built with no messy solder joints and no flimsy feeling connection ends. I have purchased and tried about 6 different cheaper leds, some saying error free and some not, and these are certainly the most well built I've come across. Will leave them on for now, but my search for true error free led's continues.
