Happy with this product. It's a reasonable size, works as intended, and was reasonably priced. In a review of an anti-static wrist strap, I included some additional information about proper grounding and why it's important when working with sensitive electronic equipment. I will attach it here In case anyone is interested in additional information as this mat can and should be used in conjunction with a grounding wrist strap: Regarding the anti-static wrist strap (or anti-static mat) it is worth noting that most of the information, The straps you read about indicate that they are attached to the metal frame of a computer case during maintenance. If you're working on a smaller device like a phone/tablet, you'll need to find another way to ground it. I have a separate anti-static work mat that I clip to, and then I clip to a homemade cord that only has a ground pin (not hot or neutral) that plugs into a known grounded outlet. Caveat: I have roughly seven years experience in residential and commercial electrical environments. I do not recommend making your own ground wire, if you choose to do so, do so at your own risk.
