As a foster parent who has raised all sorts of kids, some who can't stop stealing - I have locks like this all over my house - 7 in fact. This is the 4th different lock I've tried and it is BY FAR THE BEST. It is heavier and feels more substantial when you pull it out of the box. It has a physical bypass which the others don't so if a child moves out and I don't need to use the locking feature for awhile, I can just turn it off and it works like a regular door knob. My others don't have that feature and so I either keep entering the code or have to take the locks off the doors. Additionally, it has a finger scanner which takes 3 different scans of a finger so it is extremely accurate and fast. My wife and I each had it memorize multiple fingers and thumbs on both hands because you never know when a finger will be too dirty or have a cut and not work. The total features and schedules you can assign to this lock make it the most versatile I have used. I absolutely LOVE it and recommend it to anybody who needs to keep a primary room secured but is tired of using keys or entering codes over and over every day!
